To Fr. Gérard Lecomte - from Marty Bowden

I have been a member of St. John Eudes parish in Chatsworth since 1963, when it was established. Fr. Gérard Lecomte, CJM, became the first Eudist pastor of our parish, and through him brought a new awakening and awareness of the spirit of St. John Eudes which made him come alive in us. He spoke often of the “Burning Hearts of Jesus and Mary” and God’s loving presence among us. He encouraged us to become a beacon of that love to the community. One lasting gift that Fr. Gérard gave us is helping design and install the stained-glass windows in the front of our church which prominently display beautiful images of the burning hearts of Jesus and Mary. We love you Fr. Gérard - “With Burning Hearts we Proclaim the Good News”!
