A “Day of Recollection” is a one-day retreat that allows us to step back, unplug, take a breath, and re-collect ourselves. It can be an opportunity to collect the blessings we’ve received and spend an afternoon counting those blessings and being thankful. To Collect the whispered promptings of the Spirit in our lives and be guided by them into new life. However you use it, “The whole day of recollection aims to help to form Jesus in us,” according to St. John Eudes. (cf. Galatians 2:20; 4:19-20.) The HOJAM retreat center promotes personal and spiritual development in view of forming missionary disciples. 

Planning your Day of Recollection

Join us at the House of Jesus and Mary for a Day of Recollection, either on your own or with a group. Your retreat is of utmost importance to us, and we are happy to cater to your retreat needs. The house offers a chapel with the Blessed Sacrament present, meeting rooms, a library, kitchen, and essential commodities for a day of recollection. Our rooms are air-conditioned.

The Eudist team is happy to provide materials to assist self-directed retreats, accompaniment or spiritual direction, and confessions or liturgies with our priest upon request. The animation team is composed of Eudists, priests and baptized “Christi fideles” sharing the same spirituality.
